Your Kids Eyes

Did you know that 80% of the UV exposure you will ever receive through your eyes occurs before you are 18 years of age? Children’s eyes are much more sensitive to Ultra Violet Light from the sun as well as blue light from LCD TV’s, mobile phones, laptops, desktop computers and tablets. That’s why protecting their eyes at an early age is so important. Here is an infographic from the folks at Essilor showing the dangers of certain lights to our children’s eyes.  As we move into nice weather, now is the time to consider a good pair of sunglasses for your children and a pair for you too.
